This is a synopsis of pre-solicitation for commercial items/services prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, using Simplified Procedures for Certain for Certain Commercial Items at FAR Subpart 13.5 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. The associated North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 335312. This is a competitive, unrestricted action among sources duly authorized to operate and do business in Japan. This request for Quote (RFQ) is for Diesel Generator and external fuel tank, accessories, operational tests, and maintenance training to be delivered at Berth 13, Ship Repair Facility and Japan Regional Maintenance Center (SRF-JRMC), US Naval Base Yokosuka. The basis of award is price and past performance. Delivery Date: 10 Months after the Award Date The solicitation will be issued on or about 19 August, 2020 with anticipated due date of 09 Sep 2020. Contractors must be registered and possess active registration in the System for Award Management (SAM) at www.sam.gov. at the time of the RFQ response due date.
