Performance Enhancing Drug Testing DoDThe Department of Defense (DOD) Drug Demand Reduction Program (DDRP) has a requirement for a World Anti- Doping Agency (WADA) accredited, performance enhancing drug testing laboratory. The laboratory shall provide urinalysis testing for all substances listed on the WADA prohibited list. Proposals shall comply with the Statement of Work (SOW).The specimen testing is required for a Base Period of Performance of up to sixty (60) months with a six (6) month Option. The estimated number of Performance Enhancing Drug (PED) tests shall accommodate up to 1,000 tests annually for four (4) DoD entities including 200 for Army, 200 for Air Force, 200 for Armed Forces Medical Examiner, and 400 for Navy and Marine Corps. In addition to PED tests, this shall also include up to 160 total Isotope Ratio Mass Spectrometry (IRMS) tests annually with 40 tests per DoD entity. The laboratory performing the testing shall have a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in anabolic steroids available for up to forty (40) hours of telephonic consultation with the DDRP senior staff. The SME shall be able to discuss the scientific and forensic procedures of the laboratory, interpret data, and provide a meaningful synopsis for up to 10 hours annually per DoD entity. The vendor shall be able to provide testing procedures to accommodate turnaround time requirements of the government. This shall include a routine testing procedure with report results being reported within 15 business days on average, but not to exceed 20 business days.
