The unit shall be a steam-heated, single-chamber washer/disinfector. The washer/disinfector unit shall be capable of washing and disinfecting medical instruments prior to sterilization for the main operating room (MOR). The single chamber washer/disinfector unit shall be capable of sterilizing a minimum of ten (10) daily loads. The unit shall have pass-through capability and shall be capable of being recessed into a wall. The unit shall have automated cleaning, disinfecting, and non-vented heat drying cycles. The unit shall be capable of automatic loading and unloading when the chamber doors are opened. The unit shall include a starter kit of instrument lubricant, enzymatic presoak detergent, and neutral pH detergent. The washer/disinfector unit shall have a dimensional footprint no greater than 84"x36"x48" (HxWxD). The vendor shall provide installation of the washer/disinfector based on Attachment 01_Floor Plan. Electrical requirements for the washer are 208 V, 60 Hz. The unit shall comply with infection control standards as set forth by the Joint Commission. The unit shall comply with at least the following Association for the Advancement of Medical Instrumentation (AAMI) standard; ST79: A comprehensive guide to steam sterilization and sterility assurance in health care facilities. The unit shall include all required accessories for full functionality. The vendor shall provide operational training of the washer/disinfector. The vendor shall provide biomedical engineer training for a minimum of two (2) personal. The vendor shall provide a minimum of two (2) operator and two (2) service manuals.
