SOURCES SOUGHT LEXYCOM RADIO MOXA NPORT

Notice ID:N62478CON31FY2614

NAVFAC Hawaii is conducting market research to determine whether sources other than Lexycom Technologies and Moxa Inc. can provide an equivalent telemetry radio and media converter for compatibility with an existing Modbus radio communication system. The alternate radio must operate in the 156–174 MHz band, achieve roughly 10 kbps average RF channel data rate optimized for MODBUS, use a 50W power supply, support IP-address-based mesh routing, provide NIST-certified real-time encryption, and support P2P, P2M, and pre-determined anybody-to-anybody packet routing with ModBUS, HSQ, and data serial interfaces. The alternate media converter must transmit serial communications over TCP/IP Ethernet, provide 10/100BaseT(X) RJ45 and RS-232 DB9 interfaces, support TCP Server/Client modes, allow configurable RS-232 parameters, and operate on 12–48 VDC for compatibility with the control panel power system. This is a market research/RFI notice only and is not a commitment to issue a solicitation or award a contract; interested parties with comparable products are invited to submit complete technical data and company contact information for Government evaluation. The Government will not reimburse responder costs, and submitted information may become U.S. Government property and will not be returned.
