This contract action is for services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only Pacific Pump & Power, Inc. under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, since they are the only known vendor that can meet the Government's requirements. The work includes, but is not limited to, providing a skid mounted diesel engine/fire pump unit at Building 440, NCTAMS, HI, for back-up fire protection to rectify any deficiencies due to failure of the primary fire protection system. Unit shall be equal to or comparable to: a temporary diesel engine fire pump application, skid & trailer mounted 6" x 6" (150mm x 150mm), horizontal split case pump, w/ flow capabilities =/> 1450 gallons per minute (329 M3/hr.) and discharge head 500 feet (152.4 M high), pressure oil bath mechanical seal design. Slurry and/or water pump with capabilities to pass water and/or solids to 1-3/8" (35mm) in diameter. Accessories to be included are: Qty - two (2) ea, 6" x 20', Hose, Flanged Composite Qty - one (1) ea, 6" Tee or Wye Qty - one (1) 8" x 6" Reducing Spool Qty - one (1) 0-300 psig pressure switch Procurement Method: Combined Synopsis/Solicitation The NAICS Code for this procurement is 532490 and the annual size standard is $32,500,000.00.
