The Government intends to obtain all labor, materials, equipment, transportation, supervision, State and County taxes, permits, and incidental related work to modernize nine (9) patient elevators and four (4) material handling elevators in Building 1H at Naval Medical Center San Diego (NMCSD). The primary work for referenced elevators include demolition and replacement of the mechanical and control systems in machine rooms and hoist-ways, upgrade of the power distribution, fire protection and life-safety features upgrades and interfaces, lighting, and power in the machine rooms, hoistways, and elevator cabs interior finishes (wall, ceilings, floors), and door packages. It also provides pre-transfer signals from transfer switches to elevator controllers and adds transfer switch signal output.
