The Department of the Navy, Naval Facilities Engineering Command, Southwest, proposes to lease and assign Government-owned real property under the process and terms outlined in the solicitation. The procurement is a leasing and development opportunity at the Defense Fuel Support Point San Pedro, San Pedro, California, special area of Naval Weapons Station Seal Beach. The property available for lease consists of two parcels: 1) an 11-acre marine terminal that includes a fuel pier (Pier 12) in Long Beach, California and 2) a 311-acre fuel depot in San Pedro, California. Both parcels are improved with fueling infrastructure and facilities, and connected by offsite fuel pipelines. The property available for assignment consists of four offsite, Navy-owned pipelines, totaling 14 miles. The solicitation allows for proposals to be submitted on one or both of the available parcels (or portions thereof), and on one or more of the available fuel pipelines (or portions thereof). The Navy requires continued use of the fuel pier for routine and contingency military fueling operations.
