The Naval Oceanographic Office (NAVOCEANO) Contracts Department at Stennis Space Center, MS 39522, hereby formally announces the intent to award a firm-fixed price contract on a sole source basis under the authority of 10 U.S.C 3204(a)(1), as implemented by FAR 6.302-1 to the Elton B. Stephens Company (EBSCO) Databases. The contractor will be required to provide Software Transactional Memory (STM) Source, Environment Complete, Applied Science & Technology Source Ultimate and Computers & Applied Sciences Complete. This notice of intent is NOT a request for competitive proposals; however, all interested persons that identify to the Contracting Officer their intent and capabilities to satisfy the Government’s requirement within 5 calendar days of this notice will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract action based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
