No additional solicitation will be issued. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation which shall be considered by the agency within six (6) calendar days after the date of this notice. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. The Naval Oceanographic Office (NAVOCEANO) has a requirement for procurement of High Tech Hydrophones, P/N: HTI-90-U-198PAR and/or P/N: HTI-90-U-186SER, and recalibration of either Hydrophone type and the recalibration of P/N: HTI-97-DA/PC. Intended Source: High Tech Inc. Rationale for non-competitive award: The hydrophone is an integral component of a NAVO system design and any replacement must be a High Tech hydrophone to ensure form, fit and function requirements are met. Recalibration of the Hydrophone can only be accomplished by the original equipment manufacturer, High Tech. They are the only source with the requisite technical expertise to ensure proper operation of the Hydrophone.
