NAVOCEANO awarded NON-COMPETITIVELY a firm fixed price contract for High Tech Hydrophones, P/N: HTI-90-U-198PAR and/or P/N: HTI-90-U-186SER, and recalibration of either Hydrophone type and the recalibration of P/N: HTI-97-DA/PC per FAR FAR 6.302-1. Rationale for non-competitive award: The hydrophone is an integral component of a NAVO system design and any replacement must be a High Tech hydrophone to ensure form, fit and function requirements are met. Recalibration of the Hydrophone can only be accomplished by the original equipment manufacturer, High Tech. They are the only source with the requisite technical expertise to ensure proper operation of the Hydrophone.
