This a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial supplies prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation number, as referenced above, is assigned to this procurement for tracking purposes only and is issued as a request for quotation. This solicitation incorporates provisions and clauses that are in effect through the Federal Acquisition Circular 2021-05 effective 10 March 2021 and DFARS Publication Notice 20 May 2021. It is the responsibility of the contractor to be familiar with the applicable clauses and provisions. All responsible sources may submit a quotation which shall be considered by the agency. The North American Industry Classification Standard (NAICS) code is 335911 – Storage Battery Manufacturing. The small business size standard is 1,250 (number of employees). The Naval Oceanographic Office (NAVOCEANO), Stennis Space Center, Mississippi has a requirement to procure 7,200 Environmental Acoustic Recording System (EARS) Battery Sticks, and 500 Platform-agnostic Ambient Noise Data Acquisition (PANDA) battery sticks.
