The Naval Oceanographic Office (NAVOCEANO) at Stennis Space Center, MS, intends to NON-COMPETITIVELY award a firm fixed price contract for below referenced service requirement per FAR 13.106(b). No additional solicitation will be issued. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation which shall be considered by the agency within 5 calendar days after the date of this notice. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Requirement: Uncrewed Maritime Systems (UMS) Tier II Certificate Program Intended Source The Univerisity of Southern Mississippi Division of Marine Science, School of Ocean Science and Technology which is located at Stennis Space Center, MS Rationale for non-competitive award: University of Southern Mississippi (USM) is the only source that can offer Uncrewed Maritime System (UMS) Tier II Certificate Program. This course is a follow on training for participates to build upon the skills and knowledge acquired in the UMS Tier I Certification Program. Anticipated Award date of September 24, 2021. The period of performance is for one (1) base year, plus four (4) option years. THIS SOLICITATION WILL BE FULL AND OPEN WITH NO EXCLUSTIONS.
