The Naval Oceanographic Office has a requirement to support an emerging and immediate need to measure inherent optical properties, bioluminescence and high-resolution current meter data through the acquisition of one (1) in-situ inherent optical properties acquisition systems (IS-IOPAS). The proposed IS-IOPAS will be deployed from NAVOCEANO T-AGS vessels underway and must be capable of measuring diffuse attenuation, chlorophyll, spectral absorption, optical backscattering, bioluminescence potential, and current vectors.
