NAVOCEANO intends to competitively award a firm fixed price Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract for below referenced service requirement. Requirement: The Naval Oceanographic Office (NAVOCEANO) intends to Solicit for logistics, scientific and electronic support services, in support of Oceanographic missions to collect environmental acoustic data. The support under the prospective contract will include data analytical services of acoustic datasets, electronics technical support of MACOS Glider maintenance and deployment, and logistics support outside the continental United States (OCONUS) and within the continental United States (CONUS). The period of performance of the contract shall be for a base and four (4) one (1) year options with an estimated start date of August 1, 2019. THE SOLICITATION WILL BE FULL AND OPEN WITH NO EXCLUSTIONS. This synopsis documents and incorporates provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-100 effective 22 AUG 2018 and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS) Publication Notice 20180629. It is the responsibility of the contractor to be familiar with the applicable clauses and provisions. It is anticipated that a firm-fixed price Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity Contract will be awarded as a result of the solicitation. The solicitation will be released on or about 19 February 2019, for the items listed in the Performance Work Statement. Closing date for this synopsis is 15 February 2019.
