The Naval Oceanographic Office (NAVOCEANO) Contracts Department at Stennis Space Center, MS 39522, hereby formally announces the intent to award a firm-fixed price Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract on a sole source basis under the authority: 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1), as implemented by FAR 6.302-1 to Hydroid, Inc. The contractor will be required to provide repair services, as well as technical and engineering services in support of REMUS 100m, 600m, 2500m and 6000m Autonomous Underwater Vehicles (AUVs). This notice of intent is NOT a request for competitive proposals; however, all interested persons that identify to the Contracting Officer their intent and capabilities to satisfy the Government’s requirement within 5 calendar days of this notice will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract action based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
