Notice of Intent to Award Sole Source The Naval Oceanographic Office (NAVOCEANO) intends to NON-COMPETITIVELY award a firm-fixed price contract for below referenced supply requirement per FAR 13.501(a). No additional solicitation will be issued. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation, which shall be considered by the agency, within 5 calendar days after the posting date of this notice. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Responses may be sent to: Anne Ball at anne.ball@navy.mil Requirement: Autonomous Electro-Magnetic Profilers (APEX-EM) Intended Source: Teledyne-Webb Research (Teledyne), a Business Unit of Teledyne Instruments, Inc. Rationale for non-competitive award: Teledyne is the sole manufacturer and provider of electro-magnetic autonomous underwater profilers. Anticipated Award Date: 24 June 2021 The period of performance of the contract shall be for a two (2)-year ordering period, estimated to begin 24 June 2021. THIS SOLICITATION WILL BE FULL AND OPEN WITH NO EXCLUSTIONS.
