COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION N6230622Q0050 Deep Acoustic Recorders This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial products or commercial services prepared in accordance with the format in subpart 12.6, Simplified Acquisition Procedures for Certain Commercial Items per FAR 13 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation number, as referenced above, is assigned to this procurement for tracking purposes only and is issued as a request for quotation. This solicitation incorporates provisions and clauses that are in effect through the Federal Acquisition Circular 2022-07 effective 8/10/22 and DFARS Publication Notice 20220826. It is the responsibility of the contractor to be familiar with the applicable clauses and provisions. All responsible sources may submit a quotation which shall be considered by the agency. The North American Industry Classification Standard (NAICS) code is 334511. The small business size standard is 1,250 employees. The Naval Oceanographic Office (NAVOCEANO), Stennis Space Center, Mississippi has a requirement to procure two (2) Deep Acoustic Recorders that are small self-contained, battery operated, single-channel acoustic recorders that are compatible with specific hydrophones and processing software. Hydrophones are not required. The Government may cancel this solicitation at any time prior to award. FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors – Commercial, applies to this acquisition.
