USNO is seeking provider maintenance for redundant Environmental Growth Chamber (EGC) units that provide a stable environmental control for the Master Clock in Washington, DC and at the Alternate Master Clock (AMC) location in Colorado Springs, CO. Consistent environmental control during all possible external forcing functions is vital to keeping the clocks, measurement systems, and management computers operational. There are a total of seven EGCs in Washington, DC, and two in Colorado Springs, CO. The proposed procuremnet is being processed as a sole source requirement to Environmental Growth Chambers (EGC). The NAICS code for this acquisition is 334512. This procurement is being conducted using FAR Part 13 - Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The anticipated performance period is 29 July 2022 through 28 July 2023, with four, one-year option periods. For additional information plese see attached Justifications and Approval.
