The Naval Postgraduate School (NPS) has a requirement for underwater navigational systems diagnostic services for the Kearfott Inertial Navigation System (INS) on an NPS-owned Hydroid Remus 100 Unmanned Undersea Vehicle. This service is required to determine whether the INS needs to be repaired or replaced. Once the diagnosis is complete, NPS will proceed with repairing the INS or replacing the equipment. The Remus 100 UUV is used for thesis research, as well as being part of the academic curriculum. Minimum Technical Requirements: Diagnose the Kearfott Inertial Navigation System (INS), to determine if it can be repaired or replaced. Original Equipment Manufacturer must provide the qualified personnel, tools, devices and physical space and additional equipment required to perform the diagnostic.
