DKL maintains a curated portfolio of information products from a variety of credible and proprietary sources that support teaching, learning, and research needs of NPS students and faculty. Selection is based on relevance to curricula and research interest, the quality of content, and some technical delivery preferences. The database covers journal information in subject areas relevant to all NPS teaching and research areas: including accounting, economics & finance, management, marketing, computer science & business information systems, educational psychology & administration, educational technology & library science, mathematics, oceanography, physics, psychology and more. Minimal Technical Requirements/Salient Characteristics: The Cabells database is sought because it is a trusted source of curated journal background information and discovery. Their Whitelist includes evaluation metrics and submission details for over 11,000 academic journals in 18 disciplines, enabling prospective authors to compare and identify appropriate journals for article submission. Their Blacklist includes misconduct reports and other evaluative information on more than 13,000 predatory and other journals with deceptive practices, enabling prospective authors and researchers to critically evaluate a journal they may be considering for article submission or citation in a paper. Both the Whitelist and Blacklist are highly useful for tenure and accreditation purposes. The following technical requirements are in place:?
