The Naval Air Warfare Center Training Systems Division intends to sole source operating system updates and modifications for the ITT-2B and 2C trainers to General Dynamics Mission Systems, as the original equipment manufacturer. Performance will be at the Littoral Training Facility, Naval Station San Diego, CA. The effort includes Windows 11 and Red Hat Enterprise updates, VSHIP 10 integration, and other modernizations to maintain training fidelity. The government is seeking information on potential comparable sources to ensure no more advantageous alternative exists. Contract execution is anticipated before April 16, 2027.
