Amendment 1: In regards the eighty (80) VRLA UPS Batteries, EATON UPS Model 9395-275, it was determined that substituted commercial items that for the technical requirement are allowed. Industry standard allows to use equivalent VRLA Batteries when replaced as long as all batteries are replaced with the same batteries. As long as the brand of replacement batteries are equal to or exceeds the original batteries and can maintain the rated 275 kVA output that the EATON Power Xpert 9395 (Model 9395-275) is designed for, that replacement of equal is sufficient. Additional the Government is looking to acquire standard 3 to 4 years of warranty on the procure batteries. It is expected that the contractor would be in charge of proper disposal of batteries are in accordance with local and federal EPA standards for Hazardous Material Disposal. This amendment will not be extending the solicitation date. All proposal are still expected to be received No Later Than 30 August 2024 at 2:00 PM (ET). Naval Air Warfare Center Training Systems Division (NAWCTSD) in Orlando, Florida intends to issue a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) purchase order that covers the items listed below.
