To provide Contractor Instructor Services (CIS) performed by Contractor Instructors (CIs). This service shall include Navigation Seamanship and Ship-handling (NSS) instruction, operation, and curriculum support as required by the Government in support of training U.S. Navy Surface Warfare Officers and Enlisted bridge navigation watch standers. The primary NSS subject areas will be Bridge Resource Management (BRM), Basic Ship-Handling (BSH), Bridge Watchstanding Special Evolutions, Littoral Combat Ship (LCS) Officer of the Deck (OOD) and Junior Officer of the Deck (JOOD), Surface Warfare Officer Advanced Division Officer Course, Junior Officer of the Deck (Ship handling) and other courses, as required, in the NSS subject areas. The NSS CIS support is required at the following locations: Naval Support Activity (NAS) Bahrain; Naval Station (NS) Everett, WA; NS Mayport, FL; NS Newport, RI; NS Norfolk, VA; Shipyard Bath, ME; Shipyard Pascagoula, MS; Surface Warfare Engineering School Command Great Lakes, IL; NS Perl Harbor, HI; NS Rota Spain; NS San Diego, CA; Commander Fleet Activities Sasebo, Japan; Commander Fleet Activities Yokosuka, Japan.
