The Naval Air Warfare Center Training Systems Division (NAWCTSD) Orlando, FL intends to sole source for the procurement of E-2D Advanced Hawkeye (AHE) Common Radar Simulation (CRS) Spiral Five capabilities, which will be used in the Hawkeye Integrated Training System (HITS). The intended recipient is Lockheed Martin Rotary Maritime Systems (LMRMS) under the authority of 10 USC 2304 (c) (1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1. The of E-2D AHE CRS is comprised of software and data the Government does not have rights to, and expertise only LMRMS can provide in order to meet requirements. No solicitation documents are available. This notice of intent is neither a request for competitive proposals nor a solicitation of offers. This synopsis is to meet the requirement of FAR 5.201(b)(1) and to illustrate the Government’s intention to award a sole source award to LMRMS.
