The purpose of this procurement is to acquire materials for the Naval Undersea Warfare Center (NUWC) in RI, Portsmouth Naval Ship Yard (PNSY) in NH, Naval Submarine School (NSS) in CT, Naval Undersea Warfare Center (NUWC) in WA, and Submarine Learning Facility (SLF) in VA. The required materials (descriptions, specifications, part number, and quantities) are identified in the Attachment 2 – MRTS 3D Lab Materials Address List Price, which allows for micro-processor variants (e.g. AMD or Intel) after an approval. Configuration control is of significant importance, as the current environment and support structures (e.g., classroom dimensions, connectivity, environmental controls, utility capacity, etc.) cannot be altered without significant additional expense (cost and schedule) or negatively impacting training capacity.
