The Naval Air Warfare Center Training Systems Division (NAWCTSD) intends to negotiate, on a sole source basis, a contract for the procurement of The Defense Modeling and Simulation Coordination Office (DMSCO) I/ITSEC booth to be inventoried in storage, refurbished, transported to the Orange County Convention Center (OCCC), setup and torn down, and transported back to storage and inventoried. The contract is planned for Global Experience Specialists, Inc. as implemented by Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1, “Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements.� The anticipated dollar value is $25,330.98. Global Experience Specialists, Inc, Cage Code 1LY22, is the source that fabricated the exhibit for DMSCO. They store the display booth, unpack, inspect condition, advise the client of any problems, make repairs or refurbish as necessary. When directed, they will repack and prepare for shipment. They are required to unpack, setup and install the display booth at I/ITSEC 2019, and at the conclusion of the event, dismantle and pack up the items for shipment back to their warehouse for storage. Global Experience Specialist is the only vendor capable of setting up and dismantling the display booth to its specifications as they have the only technical data available and have ready access to specific parts and materials. This notice is not a request for competitive proposals. It is a notice outlining the Government’s intent to contract on a sole source basis with Global Experience Specialists, Inc. This notice is not to be considered a request for quotations or proposals. No solicitation document is available. No contract will be awarded on the basis of offers received in response to this notice. Due to the time constraints on this requirement, this notice will be posted for at least 3 days prior to any contract action in order to satisfy the requirements under FAR 5.2.
