The purpose of the NIFE program is to ensure that all pilot and Naval Flight Officer (NFO) candidates receive flight instruction per the CNATRAINST 1542.178 Series NIFE Student Syllabus. The Contractor shall provide certified flight instructors (CFIs), other support personnel, aircraft, facilities, training aids, supervision, publications, materials, maintenance, equipment, reports, and other services necessary to perform flight training and screening as defined in the PWS.
