Naval Air Warfare Training System Division (NAWCTSD) intends to issue a sole source Firm-Fixed Price (FFP) contract for a period not-to-exceed six months to FTSSJV, Inc. located at 13246 route 59, suite 208, Plainfield, IL 60585 for Contractor Operations and Maintenance Services (COMS) and Contractor Instruction Services (CIS) in support of Center for the Navy Reserve Forces Command (RESFOR) at NAS JRB Fort Worth, TX; Joint Base McGuire/Dix/Lakehurst, NJ; NAS Fallon, NV; NAS JRB, New Orleans, LA; NAS Key West, FL; and NS Norfolk, VA. The bridge will maintain on-site support for assigned NAWCTSD aviation training systems until the competitive N6134018R0003 effort can be awarded. The purpose of this bridge contract is to provide support while a new contract is in the process being awarded. The proposed bridge contract will cover a period not-to-exceed 6 months from 01 Feb 2019 up to 31 Jul 2019. The estimated award is 31 January 2019. The statutory authority for other than full and open competition is 10 U.S.C. 2304(c) (1) or 41 U.S.C. 253(c) (1). THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. No solicitation document is available and telephone requests will not be honored. No award will be made on the basis of quotes or offers received in response to this notice. Interested parties may identify their interest and capabilities to meet this requirement by 30 Dec 2018. Additionally, any response to this notice must show clear, compelling and convincing evidence that competition will be advantageous to the government. The intent of this notice is for informational purposes only. No reimbursement for any cost connected with furnishing capability information will be provided.
