The Naval Air Warfare Center Training Systems Division (NAWCTSD) in Orlando, FL, intends to sole source the Acoustic Training and Simulation (ATaS) laboratory suite database and suite of editors’ documentation, as well as engineering support services and meetings support for the ATaS personnel and subject matter experts (SMEs). For the database documentation, this is due to the efforts having been partially done on a previous contract, by the intended recipient. For the support services, this is due to the recipient having the requisite expertise to assist the ATaS lab. The intended recipient is Advanced Acoustic Concepts (AAC), LLC. which utilizes the complete and current database structures in their products (CASE FI) software design. The databases are complex structures that require complete understanding of the relationships and how they are used in modeling and simulation. AAC has this knowledge and will not require Government SME assistance in understanding these relationships. No solicitation documents are available. This notice of intent is neither a request for competitive proposals nor a solicitation of offers. In order to comply with DFARS PGI 206.302-1 the Government is seeking information on the availability of potential alternative provides for the ATaS Suite Database and Suite of Editors documentation.
