This Exception to Fair Opportunity (EFO) authorizes and approves a sole source award to Vertex Aerospace, LLC to provide interim Contractor Logistics Support (CLS) services for the Navy TH-73A, under Contracted Maintenance, Modification, Aircrew and Related Services (CMMARS) contract N6134019D1010. This initial CLS is required to support fleet introduction of the new TH-73A and its curriculum development following production aircraft delivery until the competitive long-term CLS Task Order (TO) is awarded. A CLS Contractor is required to provide interim logistics support services including labor, services, equipment, tools, and direct and indirect material required to support and maintain Navy TH-73A aircraft, aircraft systems, and related support equipment located at Naval Air Station Whiting Field (NASWF). This initial TO will be for an, approximately, 4.5 month base period, through 31 May 2021, to allow for transition to the long-term CLS TO, with 4 one-month options, through 30 September 2021, for use as required in establishing the long-term CLS TO.
