The Government intends to award a sole source purchase order to Exxact for the TensorEX TS4-67251 system to host the BLQ-10 software for the TI-20 iteration for the Naval Research local Engineering Development Environment (EDM). This server is rack-mounted system with specification required to match specifications the EDM servers currently used to host the tactical TI-20 BLQ-10 software. This server (descriptions, specifications, part number, and quantities) is identified in combined synopsis/solicitation under Table 1, which is substitution or alternative is not allowed. Configuration control is of significant importance, as current environment and support structures (e.g., classroom dimensions, connectivity, environmental controls, utility capacity, etc.) cannot be altered without significant additional expense (cost and schedule) or negatively impacting training capacity.
