This is a combined synopsis/ solicitation for non-commercial items prepared in accordance with FAR Subpart 13.1, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; a quote is being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Combined synopsis/ solicitation N61340-20-P-0013 is issued as a request for quote (RFQ) due 26 March 2020 and incorporates the provisions and clauses in effect from regulations posted to https://www.acquisition.gov/content/regulations inclusive, but not limited to, Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2019-12. This RFQ sets forth the requirement for assess and present a recommended course of action to the Government to implement corrections to the following deficiencies: 1) HX-21 Deficiency Report HX-21/CH-53E-108 and TTU JIRA DR WST2-97 HX-21, and 2) Deficiency Report HX-21/CH-53E-109 and TTU JIRA DR WST2-98. The Government intends to award a sole source purchase order to Veraxx Engineering Corporation in the form of a Firm Fixed Price Contract. Veraxx modified the 2F174-1 (WST-1) and 2F174-2 (WST-2) under contract N61340-12-D-5210 DO 0002. DRs 1) HX-21 Deficiency Report HX-21/CH-53E-108 and TTU JIRA DR WST2-97 HX-21, and 2) Deficiency Report HX-21/CH-53E-109 and TTU JIRA DR WST2-98 were discovered during testing. Upon review the DRs were not covered under N61340-12-D-5210 DO 0002 and could not be added as new requirements as the training devices have been delivered back to the Government. Veraxx currently holds some residual technical data that is required in the execution of the above mentioned actions. Since Veraxx is the sole source of the technical data and knowledge of the recent modifications to training devices 2F174-1 and 2F174-2, they are the sole source available to implement the new requirements.
