The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Panama City Division, is issuing a Request for Information (RFI) to identify potential sources for Emergency Air Breathing (EAB) respirators for U.S. Navy submarines. These respirators must include a full facepiece with speaking diaphragm, adjustable head harness, demand regulator, connection manifold with belt clip, an 8-foot air supply hose, and a voice amplification device, with optional bag valve mask adapter and 25-foot hose. The EAB must connect to existing submarine breathing air manifolds using specific quick-disconnect fittings. Interested parties should submit capability statements describing their technical ability to meet these requirements.
