REQUEST FOR INFORMATION FOR EMERGENCY AIR BREATHING RESPIRATOR
The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Panama City Division, is issuing a Request for Information (RFI) to identify potential sources for Emergency Air Breathing (EAB) respirators for U.S. Navy submarines. These respirators must include a full facepiece with speaking diaphragm, adjustable head harness, demand regulator, connection manifold with belt clip, an 8-foot air supply hose, and a voice amplification device, with optional bag valve mask adapter and 25-foot hose. The EAB must connect to existing submarine breathing air manifolds using specific quick-disconnect fittings. Interested parties should submit capability statements describing their technical ability to meet these requirements. This RFI is for planning purposes only and does not commit the government to any future contract.
