The inner sur... *This procurement effort is being resolicited* NSWC-PCD has a requirement for services to repair a covered, 12’ deep, approximately 10’ diameter, in-ground test tank/pool (Building 528). The inner surface of the pool is deteriorating and flaking off, rendering the pool unsuitable for Navy purposes. To maximize the life of the pool repairs and minimize future maintenance, the existing pool structure shall be lined with a carbon/epoxy skin/structure. This surface will allow the Navy to retain the pool size, minimize maintenance, and it will tolerate the heating and cooling that the pool is subjected to. The top three feet, approximate, of the pool is raised and surrounded by an exterior concrete deck. NOTE: This is a 100% small business set-aside.
