The Navy Experimental Diving Unit (NEDU) requires annual maintenance, calibration, linearization, and recertification for up to 10 Emerson MLT analyzers and up to 14 Xstream analyzers at NEDU. The Government intends to award this requirement as a sole-source procurement to Rosemount Inc., the manufacturer and only company offering service and recertification for the equipment. Using another vendor could compromise equipment performance, introduce harmful parameters into diving systems, and create risks to the life and health of U.S. Navy divers. The attached justification supports the sole-source award to Rosemount Inc.
