Synopsis VALVES The Naval Surface Warfare Center Panama City Division, FL (NSWC PCD) intends to award a brand name, firm fixed price purchase order using simplified acquisition procedures to authorized sellers of valves that are listed in this procurement. This procurement is brand name for the following reason: The items listed in this procurement are currently in use in the requiring lab. To meet the specifications of the equipment designed in the lab, only this brand can be used otherwise the equipment will be out of spec. If another brand were to be selected, the lab would be required to purchase the alternate valves, test the valves, and update drawings and specifications, resulting in unacceptable project delay and unanticipated costs.
