This is a Sole Source procurement to DeVal Life Cycle Support per the attached Sole Sole Justification. MISSION PACKAGE FRONT AND REAR ADAPTERS The Naval Surface Warfare Center Panama City Division, FL (NSWC PCD) intends to award a sole source, firm fixed price purchase order using simplified acquisition procedures to DeVal Lifecycle Support for Mission Package Adapters. This procurement is sole source for the following reason: The items in this procurement are a major part/component of a highly specialized piece of Ordnance Handling Equipment aboard Navy ships and are needed in order to conduct mine countermeasure missions. DeVal Lifecycle Support is the only approved source for the items and are the Original Equipment Manufacturer of the items. If another vendor were selected, potential incompatibility would introduce unacceptable risk as these are handling ordnance.
