CHASE DEFENSE HELIUM RECLAMATION PARTS The Navy Experimental Diving Unit Panama City Division (NEDU) has a requirement to procure system components for a helium reclamation system that integrates to the existing environment within the Ocean Simulation Facility. The Naval Surface Warfare Center Panama City Division, FL (NSWC PCD) intends to award a sole source, firm fixed price purchase order using simplified acquisition procedures to Chase Defense Partners. This procurement is sole source for the following reason(s): Chase Defense is the only contractor that offers large scale, commercial helium reclamation required by NEDU. Additionally, Chase Defense Partners products are used throughout the current system, thus less risk will be introduced and more continuity will be realized, by using Chase Defense Partners when integrating a new design with current infrastructure. As such, Chase Defense Partners is the only contractor that will meet the government’s requirements.
