Contracting activity is the Naval Sea Systems Command, Naval Surface Warfare Center, Panama City Division (NSWC PCD), 110 Vernon Avenue, Panama City, FL 32407-7001 (Contracts Department Code 02). This action will award a firm fixed price purchase order, on a sole source basis, to Reel Power Industrial, 5101 S Council Rd Suite 100, Oklahoma City, OK 73179 for the acquisition of a cable re-reeving machine to support the Unmanned Surface Vehicle (USV) program. Cable reels hold conductive cable or lifting cable and are used for storage, unwinding, and winding. Contacts on electric cable reels keep the power on while winding. The reeving machine will be acquired to allow live connections, allowing the use of the electrical cable while still on the reel.
