The Navy Experimental Diving Unit (NEDU) Biomedical Research Department has a need for enzymelinked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) analysis of serum blood samples for oxidative stress markers. NEDU will receive a detailed report containing the methodology and results from ELISA analysis of serum blood samples for oxidative stress markers. The Government will ship serum blood samples to the contractor at the conclusion of research study in November or December 2021. The contractor will conduct ELISA analysis on the oxidative stress markers in serum blood samples in the contractor’s laboratory. The oxidative stress markers will consist of 8-hydroxydeoxyguanosine, 4-hydroxynoneal, and superoxide dismutase (or equivalent alternatives). The contractor shall generate an analysis report containing detailed information on the methodology used for ELISA analysis and the results. The remaining samples will either be returned to NEDU or destroyed. Data from this analysis will only be sent to NEDU and will not be used for any other purpose. Data will be sent from the contractor to NEDU securely. Up to 187 samples will be analysed. See Statement of Work and Clauses Attached. Must have an active SAM account.
