This procurement is sole source for the following reason: Hydraulics International is the OEM of the booster pumps requiring the repair parts. Use of alternate equipment may introduce new or changing existing parameters that introduces unacceptable risk may be harmful to the proper operation of the equipment. Furthermore, Hydraulics International only sells direct to the U.S. Navy and not through distribution.
