SYNOPSIS Small Business Set Aside- MUST BE OUTLAND TECHNOLOGY AUTHORIZED DISTRIBUTOR. The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Panama City Division (NSWC PCD) is soliciting competitive quotes for the following Outland Technology Inc. brand specific items: ***SEE REQUIRED PARTS LIST ATTACHMENT*** These items are brand specific and not suitable for full and open competition for the following reasons. The Outland Technologies, Inc. Outland 2500 ROV is proprietary and is the only brand that is 100% compatible to the current systems owned by NSWC PCD including modifications unique to target deployment and recovery with two function manipulators and interlocking jaws, and wire rope cutters specialized for NSWC PCD operations. The fleet of test vessels at NSWC PCD have already been outfitted to accept the unique power and winching requirements of the Outland 2500 suite of ROV systems and utilizing another brand of ROV would require major electrical rework or new install of winches on the NSWC PCD fleet to accommodate ROV operations. A firm fixed price purchase order is anticipated. FOB Destination.
