Using alternate equipment would prove costly in time and dollars to the Government and to the mission through possible decertification of the Ocean Simulation Facility system. Additionally, use of alternative components may change or introduce new parameters that may be harmful to the user of the Life Support system. Therefore, it is imperative that the CPV brand of equipment is purchased.
