SWRMC is conducting market research through a Sources Sought announcement to gauge small business capability and interest in preservation, hull, mechanical, and electrical/electronic repairs for USS OKANE (DDG-77). The work will be performed at the contractor’s facility, which must be within 50 miles of 32nd Street Naval Base San Diego, and SWRMC is seeking small business concerns within San Diego County. The contemplated period of performance is 01/25/2027 to 10/27/2027. Interested vendors should submit a capabilities statement of no more than five pages demonstrating relevant technical capabilities, similar repair experience, ability to perform at least 51 percent of the work in-house, and past/current contract references. The government will evaluate responses to determine whether respondents have the requisite technical capability and experience; this is not an RFP and does not commit the government to a contract.
