This is a sources sought announcement for market research to determine industry capability and interest in a potential follow-on multiple-award indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity firm-fixed-price contract for heat exchanger and cooler cleaning services. Services include high-pressure water jet, mechanical, and/or acid cleaning of shell-and-tube heat exchangers, condensers, and coolers onboard U.S. Navy ships and other government vessels. The contractor would furnish all labor, equipment, materials, and facilities as described in the draft Statement of Work. The applicable NAICS code is 336611 (Ship Building and Repair), and the Navy is especially interested in small business capability. The anticipated RFP release date is on or around November 30, 2026.
