This is a sources sought announcement for market research to identify companies capable of providing OEM direct procurement of bearings, seals, gaskets, pumps, and other components for the six Ships Service Diesel Generators (SSDGs) aboard USS MAKIN ISLAND (LHD-8). The required parts must be original equipment manufacturer (Fairbanks Morse Defense) replacements to ensure form, fit, and function compatibility, with delivery required by 17 August 2027. Southwest Regional Maintenance Center (SWRMC) is contemplating a firm fixed price contract and is especially interested in small business capability, with NAICS code 333618 (size standard 1,500 employees).
