Southwest Regional Maintenance Center (SWRMC) is conducting market research to determine industry capability and interest in performing the Prime Vendor follow-on indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity (IDIQ) contract. The primary purpose of the Prime Vendor Contract is to provide U.S. Navy ship-related and SWRMC shop-related maintenance and repair material and service logistical sourcing and ordering support for all of the SWRMC Product Family shops, as well as the SWRMC Facilities Division, Dive Locker, and Graving Dock. The contractor shall provide these services and materials in accordance with the Statement of Work (SOW). The SWRMC Production Department Product Family shops provide I-level maintenance and repairs for U.S. Navy ships and submarines. The SWRMC Product Families currently consist of: Corrosion Control, Engine, Machine, Combat Systems, Production Control, Planning, Process Improvement, Dive, and Graving Dock. The contractor shall furnish all labor, equipment, materials, and facilities required to accomplish the work in the draft Statement of Work. SWRMC is especially interested in 8(a) certified small business capability and interest. The anticipated RFP release date is on or around Wednesday, 18 March 2026 (subject to change).? SWRMC is contemplating award of an IDIQ firm fixed price contract for the requirement specified in the attached draft Statement of Work. The applicable NAICS code is 336611 – Ship Building and Repairing. ? What/Where to Submit:?Interested companies should submit, on company letterhead, a letter of interest including the name, telephone number, mailing address, and e-mail address of one point of contact. The letter of interest should include a brief description of your company and its capabilities as they relate to the requirements set forth in the draft Statement of Work, and answers to the following specific questions.? Please limit your response to no more than five (5) pages. Is your company an 8(a) certified small business as defined by the Small Business Administration (SBA) under NAICS code 336611 (the small business size standard is 1,300 in number of employees)?? Does your company have a website? If so, what is your company’s website address? Does your company have a satisfactory performance record for the type of work required?? Please provide examples of relevant and recent (within three years) past performance. Briefly describe how your company would be capable of meeting these requirements as of contract award. Based on the draft SOW in this announcement (Enclosure (1)), does your company plan to submit a proposal in response to the anticipated Prime Vendor IDIQ Request for Proposal (RFP)? Information provided shall be treated as Business Sensitive or Confidential to the responder, exempt from public release under the Freedom of Information Act.? All information shall be provided free of charge to the Government.? SWRMC may request further information regarding the capabilities of respondents to meet the requirements set forth in the announcement.?
