Notice of Intent to Award Sole Source: Southwest Regional Maintenance Center (SWRMC) Code 410A Procurement intends to award a Sole Source contract to Kampi Components Inc., to provide Replacement Parts supporting the Forced Draft Blowers (FDB) Overhaul (Work Item #251-11-001) onboard the USS ESSEX (LHD-2). This requirement will be processed in accordance with FAR part 12 and 13. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 333413 (Industrial and Commercial Fan and Blower and Air Purification Equipment Manufacturing) and the business size standard is 500 employees. Kampi Components, Inc. is the only Authorized Distributor of Elliot Group, the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) of the Forced Draft Blowers (Work Item #251-11-001). The required parts must be replaced with the same exact material previously used and must have the same function capability as the parts previously attached to the component. In addition, the replacement parts must be compatible in all aspects to form, fit, and function with the existing equipment. Kampi Components Inc., is the sole Authorized Distributor for Elliot Group and is the only known source available to acquire the required parts. This notice is neither a request nor a solicitation of offers; however, all information received within 15 days after date of publication of this synopsis will be reviewed by the Government for future considerations. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether conducting a competitive procurement in the future is in the best interest of the Government. Responses must provide clean and concise documentation indicating a vendor's bona fide capability to provide this product or equivalency. Responses must include company name, address, telephone number of the requester, e-mail address, and Cage code with business size. Certifications in the System for Acquisition Management must be current and active to be eligible for contract award.
