Southwest Regional Maintenance Center (SWRMC) Code 410B Procurement intends to solicit Integrated Marine Services, Inc., directly to accomplish the Continuous Maintenance Availability (CMAV) for the Amphibious Construction Battalion One (ACB-1) Warping Tug (88WT0302) that may result in award of a stand-alone, firm-fixed price contract under Statutory Authority 15 U.S.C 657(a) HUBZone Act of 1997 as implemented by FAR 6.302-5(b)(5). Scope of work includes: 077-00-001 Hazardous Waste Produced on Naval Vessels; control 130-11-002 Fender; Repair 167-11-003 Port and STBD Engine Hatch leaks 167-11-004 88WT0302 Deck Hatches And Braces; Replace 242-11-001 Port and Starboard MRG Pressure Adjustment; Accomplish 247-10-001 System Alteration Record (SAR) IN1500013 R2, INLS FRP Waterjet Shaft Locking Device; Accomplish 321-24-001 A/C and D/C Power Distribution System Groom, Accomplish 324-00-002 Electrical cable replace 331-00-001 "Ship Alteration (ShipAlt) IN1700004,INLS Searchlight Replacement; Accomplish" 437-00-001 Craft Systems Calibration Groom; Accomplish 551-00-003 Compressed Air Receivers; Inspect 583-21-001 Warping Tug A-Frame Manual Retract Device ALT (IN1100006); Accomplish 611-00-001 Roller Button Bushings; Fabricate and Install 611-11-003 Recessed Cloverleaf, Replace 611-11-005 Dewatering Deck Plug Fittings; Replace 631-31-002 Craft Hull and Sides Blast & Paint Preservation; Accomplish 634-11-003 Deck Covering, Nonskid; Replace. Work is to be accomplished from 01 May 2021 to 02 July 2021 at Naval Amphibious Base Coronado. The requirement will be processed in accordance with FAR part 15. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 336611 and the business size standard is 1,250 employees. Integrated Marine Services, Inc. holds an Agreement for Boat Repair (ABR). An ABR holder has demonstrated managerial capabilities to schedule and to control boat/craft repairs, has technical/production capabilities to repair steel, aluminum, fiberglass, or wood hulled vessels, and possesses the physical capability and capacity to lift the boat/craft out of the water. The circumstances permitting Other than Full and Open Competition is Statutory Authority 15 U.S.C 657(a) HUBZone Act of 1997 as implemented by FAR 6.302-5(b)(5). Integrated Marine Services is the only HUBZone certified contractor with an ABR within the Southwest Region. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all interested parting with a valid HUBZone certification and an ABR who believe they can meet the requirements are invited to submit a capability statement to the points of contact for this notice describing their ability to accomplish the scope of work. Please respond within 15 days after date of publication of this synopsis notice. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether conducting a competitive procurement in the future is in the best interest of the Government. Responses must provide clean and concise documentation indicating a vendor's bona fide capability to provide this product or equivalency. Responses must include company name, address, telephone number of the requester, e-mail address, Cage code and business size.
