Sources Sought Notice Description: This is a Request for Information (RFI), i.e. sources sought notice, for information and acquisition planning purposes. This Sources Sought Notice does not constitute an Invitation for Bids, Request for Proposals, or a Request for Quotations. This notice does not constitute a commitment by the Government to issue an order or otherwise pay for the information solicited, nor is it a guarantee of a forthcoming solicitation or contract. It is for market research purposes only. Respondents will not be notified of the results of the evaluation. The Government will not pay for any effort expended or any material provided in response to this announcement, nor will the Government return any data provided. The purpose of this Sources Sought Notice is to gain knowledge of interest, capabilities, and qualifications of various members of industry, to include the Small Business Community: Small Business, Section 8(a), Historically Underutilized Business Zones (HUB-Zone), Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB), Women-Owned Small Business (WOSB), and Economically Disadvantaged Women-Owned Small Business (EDWOSB). The Government must ensure there is adequate competition among the potential pool of responsible contractors. Small business, Section 8(a), HUBZone, SDVOSB, WOSB, & EDWOSB businesses are highly encouraged to participate. Southwest Regional Maintenance Center (SWRMC) is seeking business concerns with the capability to provide PC 2.5 Engine training for up to ten (10) students. The vendor shall provide 30% classroom training and 70% hands-on training and the training shall include instruction on the PC 2.5 unit as well as hands on operational training for preventative maintenance tasks, troubleshooting, calibration, and disassembly and reassembly of the PC 2.5 unit. To be technically acceptable, vendors shall meet all requirements per the attached Draft Statement of Work. SWRMC is contemplating award of a single award firm fixed price purchase order for the requirement specified above. The applicable NAICS code is 611699 – all other miscellaneous schools and instruction. Interested vendors shall respond to this office in writing, via e-mail, providing their capability statement not later than (NLT) 12 December 2019 at 3:00pm Pacific.
